My Story
As a lifelong musician and composer, I understand the importance of working in a creative environment. I started playing the piano at six years old, and wrote my first song at nine. As I grew older, I expanded my knowledge base to include advanced music theory, composition, and sound synthesis. After spending a few years teaching myself electronic music production, I enrolled as a student at the Robert Lang Studios Academy to learn more about the technical aspects of audio recording and mixing.
Through my work at Robert Lang Studios, collaborations with film and music producers, and the development of my own projects, I have learned recording and mixing techniques suitable for a variety of styles and genres. During my time at RLS, I have become experienced as a tracking and mixing engineer in the famous live room which has produced records for artists including The Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Death Cab For Cutie, Macklemore, Lil Wayne, and many others. I have been fortunate to work with and learn from experienced professional producers and engineers including Jovan Dawkins (producer of “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars, “Sixteen” by Travis Barker, “I’m Out” by Ciara and Nicki Minaj), Larry Whitt (recipient of Grammy for Best Gospel Album “Help” by Erica Campbell in 2015), and Chris Rahm (mix engineer of “Black Hole Sun” by Soundgarden.)
One of the hardest parts about being a songwriter is getting the music out of your head and onto the track in a way that sounds good to you. Musical composition is a deeply personal experience, and my goal as a producer and engineer is to help you express yourself through music to create a product of which you can be proud.
